I'm in!

Well... I passed the entry exam and became a student of Belgrade Polytechnic College. The best thing is that I'm on budget. In other words that means that I don't have to pay my first year of studies (it will save me almost 1000euros). Just can't wait for the studies to start.
In the meantime I'm working on some older unfinished projects. I should have one completed and posted in my gallery during next week.
Till the next time...

Cheers!

News

Well, it was a long time since I've posted something here. There is a few new things that had happened.
I've started a new project 3 weeks ago. Now I'm working on Zenit ET SLR camera. It's my dads old camera. He does not use it anymore. Still, it is very interesting thing to model, with lots of detail. Modeling of the camera is almost done. I still need to create an environment. Hopefully I will finish it 'till middle of July.
Another news is that I am applying at Belgrade Polytechnic College (industrial design), so I'm taking drawing classes. The thing is that we (applicants) have an entry exam which is drawing a still (usually bottles, dishes and a head sculpture). We have 4 hours to finish the drawing. Good thing is that we don't need to shade the drawing, but we need to use thickness and darkness of the lines to represent the depth and shape (line shading). There is also a stupid, 20 questions, general knowledge exam (eg. of questions - Who was Leonardo Da Vinci?). I'm sure that I will pass the exams and become a student.
My drawing professor is putting pressure on me to apply for Belgrade Art Academy, but I just don't have an ambition for that. They have max of about 50 students per year, while there is at least 500 applicants. Most of them have finished art related high schools, and I think that my chances would be low. The exam consists of drawing same things as at Polytechnic College and painting them, plus drawing human figures and some other things. It lasts for 5 (FIVE Sick) days, and you must have a good portfolio and convince the professors during interview that you are their best choice. Plus, it takes 5 years to finish the Academy, versus 3 years it takes for Polytechnic College. So, I'll be sticking to Belgrade Polytechnic College Open-mouthed
That's it. 'Till the next time...
Cheers!

P.S. I forgot to mention that entry exam is on Friday, 06.27.2008. (in a week!).

Japanese language

Couple of days ago I started learning Japanese language. I'm learning it via internet, listening lessons of some online courses and using any information about it that I can get my hands on. I want to learn it because I greatly admire Japanese culture, people and cars (I'm Japanese car fan). There's also one more thing that got me into learning Japanese.
I used to train ninjutsu (yes, I was training to become a ninja) for about 2 years. Little after I became kyu rank 7 I moved to Belgrade and had to stop since I just didn't have enough time. But I hope that I will continue training ninjutsu soon.
Anyway, I hope that after a few months of learning, I would be able to speak Japanese as good as I speak English. Maybe even better!

Results

Well, the "Good old '80s" competition finished a week ago and I finished third. I'm not very happy with the current look of Lancia so I will continue to work on it.
There are also some new items in stills gallery of my website.
