Well, that time of the year has come. The time for final exams. I've already cleared one - drawing, with top grade (10/10 - over 95 points). Too bad I won't have figure drawing next semester   Next one is this Friday - design basics (or theory of form if you like it better).
I've finished the model I've been working on (the one for a VFX shot) and also made designs for some design competitions. Now I'm rendering Lancia and you can see the progres here.

It's been a tough for the last 2 months. I've been working on my school projects, VFX shot (actually a model for that shot) and was going on therapies for my old shoulder injury and my all new trigger finger injury Now I have few days to rest and then back to finishing school projects and Lancia.
Couple of days ago I've found something very interesting. It's www.visiblebody.com and it's a great 3d anatomical atlas and best of all, it's free! Great thing for learning anatomy.

I've added some new stuff to my website. It's a completely new part called "traditional" where I've put some of my school and home works. Later on I'll probably upload some of my personal drawings and sketches there.
Lancia is almost finished. Only thing left is to render it. I've done some tests and decided to render it in passes because my computer struggles with lots of hi-res textures (problem is I have 2GB of ram). I hope to have some studio renders in a week.
As for school and grades... Well... I've finished the first semester with almost perfect grades. They go like this:
Drawing - 10/10
Design Basics - 9/10 (I lacked 4 points for 10)
Engineering Communications 10/10 (stupid name for mechanical construction drawing. I am probably the best in class when it comes to this)
Product Development 10/10 (only interesting parts of this subject were presentations, all the rest was boring theory)

And maybe the most important thing. Together with some friends I'll be working on a VFX shot for a student film. It will look really cool. Believe me

It's been a while since I've posted something here. Last few months were harder than I've thought. Lots of schoolwork, lots of homework and some paid work in between. Now it's exam time so I have some time for myself. Good thing is that there is only one exam I should learn for  I've already cleared two of them ("Drawing" and "Design Basics") with top grades. There's two more left to clear and I'm freeeeee... for ten days   Last one is on February 5th and 2nd semester starts on February 15th! But, I think I'll have enough time to at least finish Lancia.
In the next two weeks I'll make a new page on my website. I'll put some of my best school and homework there. At least I'll post something new
